LET YOUR HEART TAKE COURAGE
I was en route to work one morning and stopped to take notice of a beautiful heart shape forming in the sky. Within seconds it vanished but I was fortunate enough to capture a photo of it. I pondered on how quickly our courage can vanish throughout the course of our day. So we look to our source of unwavering strength. “Wait for the LORD; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the LORD!” (Psalm 27:14) He teaches us to gaze upon the beauty of the LORD, to look at His goodness. A few chapters later, He reminds us that our times are in His hands and He can be trusted. “Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the LORD!” (Psalm 31:24).
I am grateful for the invaluable scriptures that serve as a constant source of comfort and encouragement, readily available to us at any hour of the day. May your gaze be turned toward Christ when your courage fades, and let your heart take courage.
